Pups: Confidence & water safety
Lessons
Breath control, getting in and out of the pool safely, survival skills, floating, kicking on the front and back with aids in the baby pool and gradually, the shallow end.
- Pups will be aged between 5-6 years upon admission
- Equipment: Armbands and kickboards
- Races Level and age-appropriate fun short events
- Duration 30-45 minutes two sessions a week

Development 1
Lessons
Continue with water safety (floating, treading water, entry and exit into main pool, kicking and floating without aids in shallow water, with aids in deep water pool. Feet first dives of the deck and surface.
- Age: 7-8 years
- Equipment: Kicking Boards & Fins
- Races Level appropriate distances up to 25m
- Goal: SAFE SWIMMER

Development 2
Lessons
Skill development in freestyle and backstroke using drills. Kick and drill intensive sessions. Arm pull, coordination and breathing. Introduction to Breaststroke. Head first dives with surface dives in deep water.
- Age: 8-9 years
- Equipment: Kicking Board, Fins and Pull buoys
- Races: Level appropriate distances 25-50m (fun, learning to compete)
- Goal: CONFIDENT SWIMMER

Development 3
Lessons
Technical development of foundation strokes, free and back. Complete the Breaststroke by refining arm-pull and coordination. Introduction to butterfly (kicking, rhythm, and arm stroke) Familiarize with technical rules for freestyle, Backstroke, and breaststroke. Sound technique in three strokes, basic endurance, and some speed training for short distances in the 3 strokes. Their turns, starts, finishes, and medley ability.
- Age: 9-11 years
- Equipment: Fins, Kicking boards, Pull buoy & Hand paddles
- Races: Level appropriate with distances 50-100metres interclubs and friendly meets, county junior events.
- Goal: COMPETENT SWIMMER

Bronze Squad
Lessons
Refining the four strokes, mechanical development of the IM, switches, turns starts, endurance-based training, some speed work with lots of drill work. Learning to train, use the pace clock, interval training. Goal setting, record keeping, age group competitions at club and county level. Better starts and turns.
- Age: 11-13 years
- Equipment: Kicking Boards, Pull buoy, Snorkel, Hand paddles and pull buoys
- Goal: BEGINNER COMPETITIOR

Silver Squad
Lessons
Learning how to train in the peak growth years, skill, skill and more technical skill development. Endurance based technical focus, speed, competition goaling, record keeping. Master at all four strokes, efficient at starts turns. Training knowledge. Technical knowledge of rules governing the stroke and sport. Committed to own goals within a team setting. Be willing to go the extra mile for their goals and teammates. Meet qualifying standards for National meets.
- Age: 12-14 years
- Equipment: Kicking Boards, Pull buoys, Paddles, Snorkel, Bands, Snorkel
- Goal: PROFFICIENT COMPETITIOR

Gold Squad
Lessons
Develop self -driven training capacity to achieve the highest level possible of performance.
- Training: Periodization, Strength and conditioning, diet and flexibility, pathway development, specialization.
- Races: Ability to race 50 through to 1500m, by qualification race in national regional and international events.
- Goal: SPECIALISED, SELF MOTIVATED, GOAL DRIVEN ATHELETE

- Non Members - KSHS 15,000 (per month)
- Pups - KSHS 7,000 (per month)
- Standard 1 - 4 sessions per week - KSHS 12,000
- All Week Training - KSHS 14,000
- Quarterly fees - KSHS 27,000 (3 months)

1. While we will give our utmost service and work hard to give all swimmers our fullest attention, the progression rate is not linear, and some will progress faster or slower than most.
2. Squads categorization is based on chronological age but is not a guarantee that all swimmers will be placed within their age squads or move at the same time.
